Journey2Wholeness Ministries Announces Traci Morin, Dallas, TX - November 14, 2009 Traci Morin, spoke and ministered to women at local Dallas Womens' drug and alcohol rehabilitation and recovery center.   Her subject titled: "Letting Yourself Off the Hook", pointing out Satan's tactics that keep you in bondage to addictions.  When a person learns how to recognize the enemy is and know God's Word of truth for them, then individuals can forgive themselves. They can move forward to truth and start walking in truth to freedom.  Learned how to seize past failures to successes in Christ. Deborah and Tommy Massey completes Citizens Police Academy Ft Worth, TX on November 12, 2009 Deborah Massey co-founder of Journey2Wholeness and husband Tommy completed their local community CPA. 12 weeks of learning how the Police, SWAT, and local organizations all work together to better provide safety for its citizens. Also as volunteers we have already assisted in training of new recruits in the police. They need volunteers in so many areas that helps and saves the community tax dollars for higher safety. Meeting our Mayor, council, and head of Homeland Security among Detectives and officers in every area gave us a better understanding of truly how local citizens can make our own community better and safer. Tommy worked in the State prison system for 14 yrs. and this is a way we knew we could be proactive in taking a role in bettering our community and assisting those who risk their lives for us on daily basis. It was enlightening and helpful to understand how the media, national security, and national disaster teams operate local and nationwide. As citizens we feel its part of our responsibility to help others help us even in our community, not just in our ministry. We have joined the Alumni Association and plan to be very active in many opportunities to assist our local government and forces.
