Sending Their Sons!

Jewish Rabbi and A Jewish Father

A Jewish businessman in Chicago sent his son to Israel for a year to absorb the culture. When the son returned, he said, "Papa, I had a great time in Israel. By the way, I converted to Christianity."

"Oy vey," said the father. "What have I done?" He took his problem to his best friend. "Ike," he said, "I sent my son to Israel, and he came home a Christian. What can I do?"

"Funny you should ask," said Ike. "I, too, sent my son to Israel, and he also came home a Christian. Perhaps we should go see the rabbi." So they did, and they explained their problem to the rabbi.

"Funny you should ask," said the rabbi. "I, too, sent my son to Israel, and he also came home a Christian. What is happening to our young people?"

And so they all prayed, telling the Lord about their sons. As they finished their prayer, a voice came from the heavens: "Funny you should ask," said the voice. "I, too, sent my son to Israel...."

How Powerful Are Our Thoughts

We have spent the following two weeks on Fear: One week what is Fear and the other week looking at Fear, Stress and Physiology. What Fear does to our body and what diseases come from Fear. How important our thoughts are and that deliverance is not enough when dealing with Fear.

Satan wants your human soul! We live in a world of two spirit world realities. We hear from two kingdoms. The kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. Did you know that when you hear thoughts in your head that are not of God or of love, that it is not from the Lord but from Satan?

Our thoughts swing between regrets or anger about the past and fears of the future. The result is stress and health problems. So live in this wonderful moment…”

Let me give you an example. Let me say that you have had abuse when you were small child. For example, lets say sexual abuse from a brother. You have feelings of shame, guilt and feelings of uncleaness about yourself. You feel you are damaged. Well, the enemy will continually remind you of that event and try to make you feel shameful about yourself. You will eventually reject yourself because of those feelings. Jesus came to heal. He said that when we confess our sins, he is able to forgive us. He says when we are able to forgive our brothers for wrong doing, then he is able to forgive you. You know it is a sin to not to forgive. Satan wants your soul. He wants you to hate yourself, others and him.

Through this can cause depression, feelings of inferiority and even sickness in your body. You probably ask how:

How does thought work? The Hypothalmus gland is the brain of the endocrine system. It is the connection between the cerebral cortex and the human physio. The Hypothalmus seat is the transference of thought into physical action through the limbic system that integrates it to the central nervous system and to the endocrine system. The Hypothalmus seat for the following life circumstances such as fear, anxieity, stress, phobias, anger, hatred, violence, insomnia, feelings of rejection, etc. One gland is all Satan needs to bring you to thought into the sin action. When you have feelings of unforgiveness, shame, hatred of others or self, your body sends signals through the Hypothalmus to the endocrine system causing your cortisol levels to rise, your hormones to work harder throwing your body off, and the chemicals to secrete less seretonine. As serotonin dysfunction producing less has been associated with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety and phobias.

That is why Paul talks about taking captive every vain imagination. Meaning every thought that is contrary to God and/or love.

In 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

He also says to discern good and evil in Hebrews 5:14 “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Meaning what kingdom are you hearing in your thoughts, is it love or hate. Is it against God’s word or not. If against God’s word about me or others, then cast it down. Don’t believe it. Start quoting the word of God that says you have been made righteous in him. Your are the apple of his eye, etc. The war is between our ears. What we think effects our bodily functions. The more we believe in the lie such as feelings of rejection, then a stronghold is created. That stronghold causes you to look at life through eyes of rejection. You will have fear of rejection and because a stronghold was created, then familiar spirits will hang around causing others to reject you because you expect to be rejected. Everything you hear will sound like rejection.

This is how we renew our minds by combating the enemy of lies with truth and believing the Father of truth and not the father of all lies.

Who is talking to you today! Are you discerning if it is from the kingdom of darkness or from God.
