Deborah Massey and Traci Morin were introduced to "A More Excellent Way" in 2004. Both of us went to Pleasant Valley Church in Thomaston, GA, to attend ministry classes called "For My Life." This is where we both got our hearts healed. The ministry class teaches you to identify and resolve spiritual roots of disease as well as learned how guilt, shame, condemnation can negatively impact the body, soul, and spirit thus causing disease.

While there, we both heard the Lord speak to us about starting a ministry in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to help others to understand spiritual roots and disease and why they are sick and how to become healed. Our first meeting started October 2005 and we have been doing this ever since. We first started out in a home with 4 people. Since then, we meet almost weekly at Comfort Inn, Bedford, Texas, but now we meet at 3960 Keller-Hicks, Keller, Texas 76248. It is our heart to help others.

Our Pastors, Jane and Don Shelton of Kingdom Harvest Church, have supported and encouraged us with this ministry.

ABOUT THE MINISTRY

This ministry is based on the teachings of "A More Excellent Way," by Pastor Henry Wright, Senior Pastor of Pleasant Valley Church in Thomaston, Georgia. He has done seminars worldwide across broad denominational lines for a number of years. He is a frequent guest on many well-known television shows and radio programs and contibutes as a feature writer for several magazines.

We at Journey2Wholeness Ministries believe in this teaching because we have personally experienced it ourselves. We wholeheartedly believe in the ministry and are called to teach this material to anyone who wants to be free and is sick of lotions, potions, diets and religious modalities!

We have learned the problem is spiritual, psychological and biological disease and what can we do about it and where is God in it today.  Did you know that sickness (mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, relationally and financially) is a curse according to Deuteronomy 28:16-68? Did you know the Lord wants to bless you according to Deuteronomy 28:1-14? Eighty percent of all diseases have a spirit root.

The scripture implies that there are three areas in our lives that are in need of sanctification; our spirit, soul and body. Blameless means that there is no area in our lives where Satan has access; spirit, soul or body and in Proverbs 26:2 says a curse causeless cannot come.

We do not manage disease but our goal and vision is to teach Disease Prevention and to make this information available in such a way as for others to share this important message with the entire Body of Christ for the health and well-being of everyone and to see others become teachers and ministers as a result of the teachings.
